The use of a matching color thread to embroider a garment.

Tone-On-Tone Embroidery
When a different shade of the same color as the garment is used for embroidery.

Ring SpunYarn
Made by continuously twisting and thinning a rope of cotton fiber. The twisting makes the short hairs of cotton stand out, resulting in a stronger yarn and a softer hand.

Double Knit
Firm, supple, wrinkle-free knit made with two sets of needles to form fine lengthwise wales on both sides. Made in a variety of weights for men’s and women’s coats, suits, sportswear and dresses. Sometimes called double jersey.
